In 2004, we created Touch Baltimore, a network of touch screen kiosks deployed at the Visitor Center at Baltimore’s Inner Harbor and Convention Center. Touch Baltimore helped visitors to Baltimore navigate their way around the city and deliver coupons for area attractions and events. Touch Baltimore kiosks allowed the staff at the Visitor’s Center and The Convention Center to spend more time with visitors making their visit more hospitable and welcoming while the Touch Baltimore kiosks delivered information.
Now, in a world of touch screen phones, smart phones and IPads, we have “An App for That” Chosen Media, Inc. in developing apps for the hospitality industry along with tourism to allow visitors to have a more pleasurable experience when they travel. Most of our apps in development interact with our touch screen kiosks deployments to increase the level of self service to the customer and enhances the experience of the visitor.
